The Calathea Orbifolia is well-loved for its big striking leaves, but that’s not to say it doesn’t take a bit of work to keep them like that. Place it in a spot with bright, indirect light to maintain its vibrant foliage. Keep the soil consistently moist, but not waterlogged, by watering when the top inch of soil feels dry (and this diva prefers filtered water). Regular misting or using a pebble tray can help maintain the humidity levels this plant loves. Crispy, brown leaves are a sign of moisture issues or too much direct light, so be sure to spend some time getting to know your Calathea’s signs of stress to keep this beauty thriving!
